Lill Rastad Bjørst


Lill Rastad Bjørst is associate professor at Aalborg University and holds a PhD in Arctic Studies from the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies at the University of Copenhagen. Recent research is focusing on the climate change debate in Greenland and, since 2012, the political debate about Greenland’s uranium. She is head of the research center CIRCLA and academic coordinator for Arctic Studies, a Master’s programme specialization at Aalborg University. Her research interests include Inuit culture and society; climate change and sustainability; mining and industrialization; postcolonialism and tourism.
