Science / project plan

From May to November we collect biopsies and ID photos of humpback whales in Godthåbsfjord and tag individual whales with satellite tags to look at site fidelity, migration, kinship etc. Furthermore, we conduct drone studies of the whales using a DJI MAtrice 200. The platform is a 22 feet aluminum open boat (Buster Magnum) with 300Hp and most field work take place in the outer half of the fjord
